A visit this weekend from my niece

Es Kaylee my niece?  I am thinking it es so, pero the relationships in this familia can be mucho complicated.  It es also mucho dificil to get these pictures to load correctly.  HOWever, here they are.  We were having a nap time together.  This es hokay, up to a point.  You can see the progress of our nap time:

 

 

 

 

That es Anna who es helping us to nap, and also sneaking pictures of us to get evidence against us, pienso.  I can take only so much togetherness, you know?  Then I am getting testy with Kaylee.  She es kind of heavy, and when she leans on me, I feel like I will soon be flat instead of nicely shaped as I am normally.

And then on the beach today, she knocked me over so I could not get up.  Everyone laughed at me, and said I was like a turtle, whatever that es.  I was very much embarrassed and annoyed by that.  Here I am attempting to regain my dignity, but I have so much sand on my coat it es muy dificil.

 

So while I enjoy company, it es also bueno when they go home again.  It es really nap time now, and I can go under my own covers in my own bed and finally relax, and know that someone bigger than me will not be smushing me.

It es much nicer outside today, and Mama took me for a walk on the beach.  The stairs are fixed, so it es easier for her to go down and then get back up.  I don't have any troubles anyhow, as I am un perro muy atletico.  Pero, I am out of practice, it has been so icy for so long here, and I don't do icy.

So, here are some pictures of me in action on the beach:

There es mucho stuff on the beach to sniff and it all needs to have my message on it.  This es hard work.  But you notice I am going without the leash, Mama is becoming mas comodo with me being loose, which I like very much.  I have to listen for her, she cannot keep up with me, I am so fast, but if I take my time sniffing and marking, she can catch up hokay.

So we had a nice time.  Then later I am going to take Abuelita for a walk, and go to her casita to see what she has to eat.   This es my favorite kind of dia.

Beach inspection tour today

Mama and I went for an inspection tour of the beach this afternoon.  I am tired and having a nap now, but Mama said she would write and put in pictures of what we saw.

Someone es building monuments out of driftwood.  We saw these, two of them now, in the part of the beach we usually walk.  Here'z what they look like:

This es what Mama calls Beachhenge I.  I don' know what that meanz, pero I like it, as you can see.  That'z me in the blue sweater.  Mama took this picture a couple of weeks ago, it waz a more sunny day, pero colder than today.  It is still there today, which Mama sayz es bueno, that meanz the water haz not come up so high lately.

This es Beachhenge II.  This picture es nicer aesthetically, pero I am not in it, so es not so good, I think. 

We also checked out the building of new dunez.  I like dunez, pienso, so we can have bunnies and foxes and birdz to chase.

There are no plants now, pero people will start the planting soon, and then the birdz bring more plants, until it es a nice place to explore and hide.

Someone left a nice wreath on their stairs.  Mama made me not leave a message on it, but I did so nearby.  Just in case some dog I know might be around, he will know I waz there.

And this es me trying to get Mama to stop with the pictures so we can finish our walk.  I waz getting tired, and needed a nice snack and a nap.

Mom and I went for a nice walk on the beach thiz afternoon.  It waz a little chilly out, but I wore my new sweater, and was comfy.  There waz absolutely nobody out there except us.  Here'z some pics Mom took:

Someone built thiz nice p-mail station.  I used it, por supuesto.

I wish Mom waz home all the time, so we could do thiz every dia.  It es nice when she es home with me.   She es helping me learn how to be an off-leash beach walker, like my role model, El Cid.  I'm getting mas bueno every time.  I figured out that when she callz me, I need to come back.  That makez her happy, y earnz me a treat when we get back to our casa.

Do you think I look macho like thiz?  I like the earz pinned back look, it es very tough, I think. 

Now that Mama is back, she can help me with blogging again.  You know, I cannot reach the computer without her lap to sit on.  So she took thiz picture of me, and now I am on her lap, and can say what es in my mind.

I waz looking at Facebook thiz afternoon, and found a lovely photo of a girl I would like to know, except she haz kidz, so maybe not such a good idea?  I could get blamed, you know?  So here es the photo:

 

Really, she could be my hermana, you know?  She lookz a lot like me.  The ninos are beautiful, pero I am not sure I am ready to be Papa.  But I could try.  At least they would not have to go to what humanz call college, I do not know what that meanz, exactly, but I understand it es muy caro, and the humanz I know talk a lot about how they need to pay for thiz thing.

I think the bebes look funny with such tiny earz.  I am sure they will have proper large earz when they grow up.  They really are not my fault, but they could be.  I need to consider that some more.  If I could meet una  hermosa Chi, I might be inclined to make bebes with her.  Hmmm....
